Mr. Pei Mingliang, a donor from ACCEF, gave back to his hometown. In 2024, after multiple communications and discussions, and with on-site investigations conducted by ACCEF volunteers, it was decided to help the school purchase smart electronic blackboards, providing direct upgrades to the teaching tools for the students.
The school, founded in 1930, is based on the century-old Taishan Temple in Jiajiayuan Township, Liulin County, Shanxi Province. It has a rich cultural heritage and significant achievements in education, earning a good reputation throughout the county. However, the school’s teaching facilities have been relatively outdated, which has, to some extent, impacted the quality of education.
To effectively address the issue of outdated teaching facilities, after thorough research and assessments by local volunteers, the decision was made to install high-quality smart electronic blackboards. On September 1, 2024, new blackboards were successfully installed in six classrooms of both the elementary and middle schools at Taishan Temple, providing the school with its first efficient and convenient teaching tools.
