Milestones<\/h1>

2024<\/h2>
  • 20th Anniversary Charity Series of the ACCEF \u2013 \u201cGrateful for You\u201d New Year Gala<\/li>
  • Volunteers visited the sponsored students and schools in Jiangxi, Henan, and Shanxi Province during the summer.\u00a0<\/li>
  • Through research and investigation by the volunteers and sponsors, 6 “Smart Teaching Machines” were successfully donated to a school in Shanxi.<\/li>
  • YCC Jiangxi Summer Teaching Project: 10 students and 6 parents volunteers participated.<\/li>
  • Coordinated the San Diego International Children’s Film Festival and promoted the mission of ACCEF.<\/li><\/ul>

    2023<\/h2>
    • The in-person Spring Festival Gala and the summer picnic returned after three years due to the pandemic.<\/li>
    • ACCEF\/YCC volunteers visited the Sichuan, Henan, and Jiangxi support sites.<\/li>
    • Raised funds to repair a kindergarten building in Henan Province.<\/li>
    • Reorganized schools and support methods for the Daliangshan Loving Care Classes.<\/li>
    • Held the first post-pandemic YCC voluntary summer teaching camp in Jiangxi, with a team of 7 students and 6 parents.<\/li><\/ul>

      2021 – 2022<\/h2>
      • Seven Loving Care Classes graduated, including 5 high school classes and 2 junior high school classes.<\/li>
      • YCC continued the regular programs such as C2SDK, Food Bank, beach cleanups, and online teaching.<\/li>
      • The first-ever online “Cloud Spring Festival Gala” was held due to the pandemic.<\/li><\/ul>

        2020<\/h2>
        • Raised $400K+, donated 62 non-invasive ventilators, 12 ICU ventilators (8 of which were donated in cooperation with a partner organization), and other medical equipment to support both the U.S. and China\u2019s Covid-19 pandemic efforts.<\/li>
        • YCC members started bi-weekly volunteer activities with C2SDK to serve the community during the pandemic.<\/li><\/ul>

          2019<\/h2>
          • The sponsored students of the Daliangshan Loving Care Classes graduated from high school and junior high school.<\/li>
          • Donated 90 laptops to Daliangshan graduating Yi ethnic students.<\/li>
          • YCC organized its third summer teaching camp in Jiangxi and Guangxi Provinces, with 26 members (15 students and 11 parents) participating.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

            2018<\/h2>
            • Partnered with the Well Grow Foundation to set up the fifth Loving Care Class in Daliangshan, Sichuan.<\/li>
            • Members visited Henan educational support sites and Left-Behind Children\u2019s Schools.<\/li>
            • YCC organized its second summer teaching camp in the mountainous areas of Ganzhou, Jiangxi, and Guangxi, with 27 members (18 students and 9 parents).\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

              2017<\/strong><\/h2>
              • 3 Loving Care Classes were established in Daliangshan, and over 200 students received support.<\/li>
              • The Foundation\u2019s leaders visited Daliangshan again.<\/li>
              • YCC organized its first summer teaching camp in the mountainous areas of Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, with 15 members (9 students and 6 parents).<\/li><\/ul>

                2016<\/strong><\/h2>
                • Qualcomm raised funds to help establish the first Loving Care Class in Zhaojue, Daliangshan, Sichuan.F<\/li>
                • Funded a roof repair project for Panlong Primary School in Garze Tibetan Prefecture, Sichuan.<\/li><\/ul>

                  2015<\/h2>
                  • Collaborated with an organization to create a program for primary school students in Guilin, Guangxi.<\/li>
                  • Co-organized a donation event for school books and supplies for children in Henan.<\/li>
                  • Completed construction projects for 16 schools.<\/li>
                  • Conducted an on-site assessment of Daliangshan area for the first time to\u00a0evaluate their need for financial assistance.<\/li><\/ul>

                    2014<\/strong><\/h2>
                    • Established the Sichuan Daliangshan Educational Support Program in Yi minority region.<\/li>
                    • Set up a scholarship at San Diego Mesa College to support Chinese language studies and cultural exchange.<\/li><\/ul>

                      2013<\/strong><\/h2>
                      • Winter Clothing Program sent New Year blessings to students in Guangxi, donating 250 sets of desks and chairs.<\/li>
                      • YCC held a Talent Show to raise funds for students in mountain areas of China.<\/li>
                      • The first group of Pride Girl Students graduated high school and entered university.<\/li><\/ul>

                        2012<\/strong><\/h2>
                        • Sponsored Sichuan Earthquake disabled students to attend the sixth “Heart-to-Hand” charity gala.<\/li>
                        • Established the Pride Girl Students\u00a0project, supporting 200+ high school girls from Chinese ethnic minority groups.<\/li>
                        • Donated multimedia classrooms to schools in Sichuan, Guangxi, and Hunan.<\/li><\/ul>

                          2011<\/strong><\/h2>
                          • ACCEF’s 17th school was completed in Guizhou, marking the completion of school construction projects, funded by the foundation, in many regions.<\/li>
                          • Established the An Hui Fund to support students and projects in Fujian.<\/li>
                          • Established the University Freshman Scholarship to support impoverished students entering university.<\/li>
                          • Held the first domestic volunteer meeting in Guangzhou.<\/li><\/ul>

                            2010<\/strong><\/h2>
                            • Recognized as the top 100 small and medium-sized charity organizations in the U.S.<\/li>
                            • Established the Mei Hua\u00a0Scholarship to reward excellent students and teachers in need of support.<\/li>
                            • Invited the Foundation\u2019s Ambassador, Mr. Liu Yunlong, to participate in the charity’s Spring Festival Gala.<\/li><\/ul>

                              2009<\/strong><\/h2>
                              • Rebuilt a primary school and a middle school, destroyed by the Sichuan earthquake, and funded disaster relief.<\/li>
                              • Built 16 schools and supported over 500 impoverished students.<\/li>
                              • Began supporting 5 extremely impoverished students in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province.<\/li><\/ul>

                                2008<\/strong><\/h2>
                                • The San Diego County government declared January 5, 2008, as ACCEF Day.<\/li>
                                • Raised $1.5 million for the Sichuan earthquake relief efforts, acknowledged by Beijing Television.<\/li>
                                • Launched a one-on-one student sponsorship program, named the “Rainbow Program”.<\/li>
                                • Completed the construction of 13 Mei Hua\u00a0Love Schools.<\/li><\/ul>

                                  2007<\/strong><\/h2>
                                  • Raised funds for firefighters injured in the San Diego wildfires.<\/li>
                                  • Built a total of nine Mei Hua\u00a0Love Schools.<\/li>
                                  • The Youth Love Club organized its first charity event in Guangxi.<\/li>
                                  • The first Zhi Xin Book House was utilized at a Mei Hua\u00a0Primary School in Guangxi.<\/li>
                                  • A total of 9 Love Schools were built.<\/li><\/ul>

                                    2006<\/strong><\/h2>
                                    • The first Mei Hua school funded by the foundation was completed in Guangxi.<\/li>
                                    • Held the first large-scale charity “Heart-to-Hand” Spring Festival Gala.<\/li>
                                    • Completed the construction of 6 Mei Hua Primary Schools in Guangxi and Sichuan.<\/li><\/ul>

                                      2005<\/strong><\/h2>
                                      • Fundraised for the construction of the first Mei Hua Primary School in Lingyun, Guangxi, which had been damaged by hailstorms.<\/li>
                                      • Established the Xuan Chun Scholarship in the Ningyuan area to support students.<\/li><\/ul>

                                        2004<\/strong><\/h2>
                                        • Registered as a non-profit charity organization, granted tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status by the IRS.<\/li>
                                        • Funded the education of 35 students in poverty-stricken mountainous areas of Guangxi.<\/li>
